Quick answer: Measure the widest part of each natural nail in millimeters, following its curve. Compare all ten measurements with the Fine Point chart before choosing Small, Medium or Large. The size selector on each product page shows which sets are available.
Why measure every finger?
A ten-piece handmade set has one nail for each finger. Your thumb may fit one row of a chart while another finger sits between rows, so measuring only one nail can lead to a poor overall fit. Make a note of the width of each nail, from thumb to little finger, on both hands. If your hands differ, use the wider measurement for that finger when comparing the chart.

Fine Point nail widths
The table below shows the widths used in our current ten-nail sets, in millimeters, from thumb to little finger. Check the size information on the specific product page before ordering; designs may differ in shape and size availability.
| Set | Thumb | Index | Middle | Ring | Little |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 15 | 11 | 12 | 11 | 9 |
| Medium | 16 | 12 | 13 | 12 | 10 |
| Large | 17 | 13 | 14 | 13 | 11 |

How to choose your set
- Measure at the widest point of each natural nail. Keep the measuring strip against the curve rather than stretching it flat.
- Record all ten widths in millimeters and compare them with the row for Small, Medium and Large.
- Check the design’s shape and current size availability on its product page. Do not assume that every design comes in every size.
- When you are between two set sizes, Fine Point’s measuring illustration recommends the larger size. If several fingers still do not match one row well, ask our team before ordering.
Fit check: A press-on should cover your natural nail without sitting on the skin at either side. Test the fit before applying any adhesive. Never force a tip that feels uncomfortable.
